Colourful Kin House Wedding
A colourful, joy-filled summer wedding at Kin House | Nick & Luke
Nick and Luke’s wedding at Kin House was everything you could want from a summer celebration — colourful, stylish, full of emotion, and overflowing with love. I’ve photographed many weddings at Kin House, but this one was truly something special.
Their wedding weekend kicked off the night before with a relaxed welcome drinks and pizza party. Just close friends and family, gathered in the gardens with glasses in hand, delicious food, and golden evening light. It was such a lovely chance to meet everyone, and to capture some relaxed portraits of Nick and Luke before the big day.
Getting ready in Kin House
On the wedding day itself, the atmosphere at Kin was buzzing. Nick and Luke got ready at opposite ends of the house — it’s one of the things I love about Kin House: the space it gives couples to enjoy those calm pre-ceremony moments in their own way, while still being under one roof.
Luke wore a stunning soft green Burberry suit, while Nick looked incredible in a bespoke design by Jack Davison — both impeccably styled in their own right, but perfectly complementary too.
A floral-filled ceremony in the Garden House
Their ceremony took place in the Garden House — transformed for the day by florist Izzy from Wizz and Wild, who created the most stunning meadow-style installation. The space felt wild and organic, with flowers growing up and around them as they exchanged vows. It was personal, emotional and full of love — the kind of ceremony you don’t forget.
Outside, guests lined up with handfuls of colourful confetti before everyone spilled out onto the lawn for drinks and canapés in the sunshine.
Relaxed elegance in the Kilvert barn
Dinner and speeches were held in the Kilvert barn — effortlessly styled by Rebecca Marie, who not only designed the look of the day but also made sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. The barn was dressed with soft, romantic florals and candlelight, and Mia Sylvia’s dreamy draping added a soft elegance to the ceiling space.
The centrepiece was their beautiful cake by Lemon Tree Cakes, surrounded by a meadow of flowers — a real showstopper and such a lovely way to draw the eye into the space.
Nick and Luke’s stationery, created by Paige & Co, perfectly complemented the vibe of the day — modern, considered, and beautifully crafted.
A packed dance floor and a whole lot of love
As the sun set, guests headed back out into the garden for a quick breather before the party kicked off. Soul Supreme brought the energy and the dance floor was packed all night — the perfect end to such a warm, joyful day.
Being part of Nick and Luke’s Kin House wedding was an absolute honour. They were surrounded by love, colour, and so much joy — a celebration of their story, their way. Weddings like this remind me why I love what I do.
