Heritage House at Daylesford Farm

A new private event space  – Heritage House

Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, Daylesford Organic Farm has long been synonymous with sustainable living and organic produce. Now, it offers an enchanting new venue for private events: Heritage House. This space harmoniously blends rustic charm with modern elegance, providing an idyllic setting for a variety of occasions.

As a wedding photographer based in the Cotswolds, I’m lucky to work in some of the most beautiful venues the UK has to offer — and Daylesford’s new private event space, Heritage House, is right up there with the very best.

Autumn Harvest Feast

If you’re dreaming of an elegant, countryside celebration that feels both refined and grounded in nature, this space is a dream. I recently had the pleasure of photographing their Autumn Harvest Feast — a seasonal celebration full of warmth, colour and texture.

The space was transformed with a relaxed drinks and canapes reception on arrival, celebrating the apple season amongst the orchards, before sitting down to a seasonal harvest feast. The event showed how well it adapts to different styles and atmospheres. Whether you’re planning a wedding, a private party, or a more creative event, there’s so much scope to make it your own.

Natural beauty meets thoughtful design

Heritage House sits just a stone’s throw from Daylesford Organic Farm, surrounded by wild meadows, kitchen gardens and softly rolling countryside. The building itself is a gentle mix of rustic textures and modern design — big glass windows flood the rooms with soft natural light (a dream for photographers), and the interiors are beautifully considered without ever feeling over-styled.

One of the standout features is The Dovecote — a warm, character-filled space with a huge open fireplace and views out across the estate. It’s perfect for an intimate wedding breakfast, a candlelit dinner or even a smaller civil ceremony. The tones are soft and neutral, which means your flowers and styling can really sing — and from a photography point of view, that subtle palette photographs so well.

Space to make it your own

What I love most about Daylesford is how versatile it is. Whether you’re planning something intimate and relaxed, or a bigger celebration with all your favourite people, the team here make it feel seamless. There’s a sense of quiet luxury that runs through everything — from the food (all seasonal and organic, of course) to the florals from their own cutting garden.

As a photographer, it’s a dream space to work in. There are so many lovely little corners for portraits, and the layout makes it easy for the day to flow naturally. Nothing feels cramped or forced — just a calm, spacious environment where people can genuinely relax and enjoy the day.

Weddings at Daylesford

As a Cotwsolds based wedding photographer I have captured weddings at Daylesford before, including this gorgeous intimate ceremony in the orchard which you can view here.

Having captured weddings and events at Daylesford before, I know the light, the best little spots around the estate, and how to move around the space without interrupting the flow of your day. I always want to blend in, make you feel completely at ease, and quietly capture the day as it naturally unfolds.

Daylesford’s ethos of elegance without fuss aligns so well with how I like to work — gently guided, never staged, with a focus on the in-between moments that tell the real story of your day.

If you’re considering Heritage House for your wedding, I’d love to chat. Whether you’re still dreaming things up or already deep into planning, I’m always happy to share what I’ve learned from photographing here, and help you feel confident that the space — and your story — will be captured beautifully.
