Cornwell Manor September Wedding

Chrissie and Hamish’s wedding at Cornwell Manor was every bit as magical as you’d imagine. A soft, romantic palette of blush pink and champagne set the tone for the day, paired with flickering candlelight, lush florals and the elegant charm of this Cotswolds manor.

The morning unfolded inside the house, where Chrissie got ready with her bridesmaids in one of Cornwell’s beautifully lit suites. She wore a timeless Suzanne Neville gown from Miss Bush, with soft waves by Nadezhda Hardiman and glowing, natural make-up by Jessica Rose. Her bridesmaids wore chic champagne-toned dresses from Six Stories, and the whole morning had that calm, excited energy you just want to bottle.

The ceremony took place in the ballroom, transformed by Wizz & Wild with the most incredible floral arch—lush, romantic and abundant with flowers. Aderyn String Quartet played beautifully throughout the ceremony.

After the ceremony, guests spilled out into the Italian gardens for drinks in the September sunshine. Champagne flowed, canapés by The Kingham Plough were passed around, and everyone basked in that beautiful golden glow.

Dinner was served in a candlelit marquee on the croquet lawn. Boutique Marquees created the cosiest, most romantic space—long tables dressed with soft linens, elegant Luxe Collection dinnerware, stationery by Papermill Calligraphy, and more flowers than you could count. The atmosphere was warm, intimate and full of love.

Then, the big surprise: at one end of the marquee, a hidden curtain dropped to reveal the dance floor—completely transformed with a dry ice espresso martini tower and ceiling filled with disco balls. Chrissie and Hamish opened the party with Truly Medley Deeply kicking off the night, and it didn’t stop from there. Late-night pizzas from Pizza Blues and cocktails by The Old Fashioned Cocktail Co kept the energy high, with everyone dancing under glittering lights until the early hours.

This day was an absolute dream to photograph—joyful, elegant, and full of unforgettable details. It was beautifully planned by Lindsay Whitwell, with the perfect team behind it all, and an atmosphere you couldn’t replicate if you tried. I was also joined by the lovely Kathryn Berry who captured a gorgeous video of the day!

As a natural and relaxed Cotswolds wedding photographer I always love working at Cornwell Manor. Summer weddings at Cornwell Manor have a special kind of atmosphere—relaxed, intimate, and beautiful in the soft evening light, the perfect setting for natural, relaxed and elegant wedding photography.
